Richard W. Lozier, Jr.
Dick Lozier is a shareholder of the firm whose practice emphasizes utilities regulation, real estate, and insurance law.
Mr. Lozier’s real estate practice has included advising a number of clients regarding their conveyances, title issues, mortgage lending, land use and zoning issues. His insurance practice has involved representing insurance companies in litigation and advising insurance companies regarding their licensing, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, demutualization, and regulatory matters before Iowa Insurance Division. His utilities regulation practice has included advising and appearing on behalf of clients in telecommunications and energy matters pending before Iowa Utilities Board and in litigation in state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Belin McCormick, Mr. Lozier spent two years as a Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (1969-71). Following his service at the F.B.I., Mr. Lozier was a name partner at the law firm of Grant, Lozier and Sarcone.
